PAULA MOORE - DIRECTOR/FOUNDER
Paula Moore is the Founder/Director of Footprints Dance and Exercise Studio. Her love for dance started as a child in the offices of the Corine Morse Williams Studios in Gary, Indiana. Paula grew up dancing in one of the best schools in the Midwest, but excelled in running the back office. She not only loved dancing, but the business of making dancers of others. Add in her award-winning career as one of the nation’s top TV Anchor talents and you have an infectious combination of charm, talent, energy and show-womanship.
Paula started Footprints in her Paradise Valley home more than 23 years ago and opened the present location in 1987. She’s shared the gift of dance with more than 3500 students of all ages pushing all to be the best they can be while enjoying life. Many of those students have become professional dancers, choreographers and even dance studio owners.
Footprints had been host to Alvin Ailey, the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Savion Glover, the Hines Brothers, Frank Hatchett and Company and even performers from Riverdance. Paula has studied with the Broadway Dance Centre in NY and is recognized for her instruction by much of the national industry.
VICKI WILSON-MOBLEY - BALLET & ZUMBA® FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Vicki Wilson is the Assistant Director and Program Coordinator of Footprints and is a certified ZUMBA® Fitness Insructor. She came to Phoenix from Indianapolis over 20 years ago to help her sister build on the Footprints model. Vicki’s love of dance began at the early age of 8 at her Godmother’s dance studio. She studied ballet, jazz and tap until leaving for college. Corrine Morse Williams Dance Studio (now the EXCELL Dance Program of Gary, Ind.), not only included dance lessons, but regular trips to see world renowned dance companies, theatrical performances under the support of her Godmother.
Vicki auditioned for the award winning Indiana University Afro-American Dance Company, where she competed and toured across the country for four years, while majoring in chemistry and environmental science. Although her first love is ballet, she has studied the Gram technique and participated in workshops from Dance Theater of Harlem and Alvin Ailey among other modern dance companies. She has since studied exercise physiology, body building, martial arts, injury prevention techniques and conditioning through cross training.
She is a former Ballet Arizona Board member and has organized dance troupes and major celebrity events. She offers personal training and instruction on a limited basis. Vicki and her husband have two children and two grandchildren.
LAURIE HAMMOND - HIP-HOP INSTRUCTOR
My name is Lauri “Nugget” Hammond and I have been a hip hop dancer for 14 years and counting!
Throughout my dance career I have taught at dance studios, community workshops, performed with many different dance crews, and instructed at Phoenix College for 4 years. I have a strong passion for positive hip hop culture and enjoy every moment I am able to pass on my knowledge to others.
I teach a variety of hip hop techniques:
Choreography Class- You will learn my choreographed routines in which I like to mix the old school and new school flavors of dance together. You will also learn to groove, freestyle techniques, tuts, and waving.
Breaking Class- You will learn beginning breaking techniques such as top rocks, drops, six step, shuffles, and freezes.
Choreo/Breaking Class- A combination of choreographed routines, tuts, waving, freestyle, and breaking techniques.
In my dance classes you will experience an environment of support and encouragement. Come and enjoy what hip hop dance is all about: Celebration, Empowerment, And Expression!

SHARON JUDD - IRISH STEP & CEILIDH DANCE
Sharon Judd, Teacher, Choreographer, Dancer. Bachelor of Arts, Arizona State University. Irish dance training: Donegal Dancers, 5 years; McTeggart School of Irish Dance-dancer and teacher, 14 years; University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee campus Irish studies, two summer sessions; TMRF certificate (issued by An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, 1994), Roster artist-Arizona Commission on the Arts 1991-present. Currently teaches dance at Bourgade Catholic High School.
THOMASA SEMAAN - ZUMBA® FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
I’m Thomasa Semaan and I’m a certified Zumba® fitness instructor. The heart of my vision is to get you hooked and absolutely loving working out. I am a professional decorative finishes artist and a professional dance instructor. I have more than 15 years experience teaching various forms of dance. Combine this with training in a variety of martial art forms, boxing and other physically and mentally demanding sporting activities; will enable me to help you in achieving your fitness goals.
I felt that his Zumba® fitness concept embodies a festive party feel with exercise. MARIE MABIN - ZUMBA® FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Marie Mabin started dancing at the age of 7. Growing up, she studied Ballet, Jazz, and Philippine Folk dances, Hawaiian and Tahitian dances. In Seville, Spain she was trained in Spanish Flamenco dance with famous Spanish Flamenco dance performers. Marie performed at Pepin’s Spanish Restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale for 9 years and makes occasional guest appearances with local flamenco performers, Flor Y Piedra. She is currently a member of a local Flamenco dance company, Flamenco por la Vida.
She is a licensed Zumba Basic, Zumba Toning, and Zumbatomic Instructor (Zumbatomic is Zumba for kids). She has been teaching Zumba classes in Valley since June 2009.

ARGELIA PADILLA - ZUMBA FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I'm Argelia Padilla and I love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you'll see what I mean. You don't even have to know how to dance. STACEY GILLETTE-PALMER - ZUMBA FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
Hi I’m Stacey!…aka Blaze. Born and raised in Chicago, a love of music and dancing is something that has always been a positive outlet that brings me immeasurable joy. In fact, studies show that dancing is one of the best ways to relieve stress and improve your mood.
This is how I got "hooked on Zumba". I tried one class and that was IT! I left that day exhilarated and a changed person. I made the decision to become a certified Zumba fitness instructor so I could share my passion with others like me who want and need to have fun while getting fit. I am currently certified in (Zumba Basic, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Zumbatomic and soon I will be taking my Zumba party from land to water with the addition of Aqua Zumba - the ultimate pool party!)

KATHLEEN HENRY - YOGA, BALLET AND BALLROOM INSTRUCTOR
Kathleen Henry, a movement science pioneer specializing in kinesiology, creates programs gaining international recognition. Integrating extensive training and teaching experience in ballet, theater jazz, ballroom dance, yoga, and martial arts, her holistic philosophy emphasizes cross-training, based on the excellence of form, alignment, and basic technique as roots for peak performance and injury prevention.
